Lorne House

Lorne House is a residential home registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide care for 13 adults with Learning Disabilities.

The service is long stay care, dependent on continual funding and appropriate placement to meet the individual’s needs.  A place in Lorne House may be funded from social care, health funds or privately.

Lorne House very much has an open-door policy for our Resident’s relatives and friends to visit.

The expected outcomes for residents is for all to say that :

  • I am safe

  • I am treated with compassion

  • I am involved in decisions about my care

  • I am protected from avoidable harm but also have my own freedom to take risks

  • I am supported to keep in touch with my family and friends

  • Those around me ad looking after me are well supported

  • I am supported to make choices

  • I receive the right treatment

  • I receive good quality healthcare

  • I am valued and respected.
